NEW RELEASES!

It’s been such a busy few months! Over the Holiday season so many people take vacations & slack off a little…. but not Aljex! We have implemented a ton of new features in Vision that we’d like to make you aware of.

We review these features in Training Classes. By the way, training class isn’t just for new people…. I guarantee you will learn at least 1 new valuable tool each time you attend!


• Across the top of the Home Page we adjusted the menu tool bar (Shipments, Customers, Carriers ) so it fits better on laptops, smart phones and smaller monitors.

• Shipments Needing Attention – There are more “events” in the grey box on the home page. You can now filter & search shipments that have: No pick up Appointment, No Delivery Appointment & No Pick up or Delivery Appointments

• On the Home page you can view your shipments by mode of transportation by checking the box next to Brokerage, Logistics, Airfreight, Trucking or Intermodal. You can view more than one mode at a time.

• Run reports or search shipments that are active or released by going to the Shipments tab. Here you can search shipments by reference number, ship dates, pick up or consignee locations and more. If you click the Spreadsheet button the results will export to Excel! Check it out!

• Radius reports are available through the Shipments and the Reports tab. You can use the radius search to locate the nearest loads or nearest trucks to a zip code or city & state

• To manifest multiple loads on same truck use the Manifesting feature under the Shipments tab. You can divide the carrier pay by pallets, pieces, weight or number of shipments. You can manifest a pro more than one time.

• Least Cost Routing is now available in Manifesting. The Logistics package is required for all Least Cost Routing functions.

• Load Count displays on bottom left ; below the last load displayed on the home page.

• Create 3rd Party Billing for bills of lading by going to the Setup Menu. Once the bill to’s have been created you can choose from this list when sending a BOL to a customer. The BOL is located in the pro under Customer Forms.

• Tariff Rate Setup is now located in the Setup Menu. Tariff rates can be created based on pick up, consignee, zip, 3 zip or state and rated per mile, CWT, gainshare or flat fee. Just assign your customer the Tariff # for the auto rating to apply.

• Tariff rating options, Billing Notes, Accounting & E-Billing options are now available in the Set up & Preferences section of the Customer file.

• Documentation (scanned or uploaded images) can be viewed from within the Customer File and Carrier File or from the View Customer or Carrier feature. The drop down box for documentation identifies the file names & reveals how many files have been stored for each category.

• Send your customer an AR statement via email from View Customer. The email address for AP contact in the customer’s file will populate. You can hover your mouse over the “send” button to view the customer’s outstanding balance.

• Track customer’s shipments by using the Track button in View Customers. You can search by reference numbers, dates and more.

• Keep track of customer calls by using the last call & next call date. Enter sales notes then adjust the last call and next call dates. Then, when you go to View Customers you can search by the next call date.

• Access carrier pay information and missing paperwork by going to View Carriers. The YTD pay button will bring you to the carrier AP info and Missing Paperwork.

• Payment setup options are now available in the Carrier File. This includes payment terms & quick pay.

• In Trucking - Equipment Available Soon and Map of Available Soon Equipment have been released. We described these features & announced they were coming soon in a previous Blog on November 1st.
