New City/State/Zip Code Lookup in TIN and Vision

In TIN and Vision, the city/state/zipcode lookup process has been updated.

Now the system uses Aljex's zipcodes file - which has ALL the zip code choices for cities that have multiple codes. Note: many city names have been changed – for a complete list of city name changes, please go to http://aljex.aljex.com/citydiff.txt.

After you enter a city and choose a state from the dropdown, the system will either display the zip code OR the zip code field will turn into a "drop-down" list of all the valid choices.

If you don't change the state field, you can enter the zip code directly into the zip code field and a dropdown of choices will be shown. Once you change the state, the zip code field will no longer have the dropdown.

This new process only takes place once data is changed in existing shipments, or when new shipments are added.
