Coming Soon

Coming Soon: POD by Email
Soon when you send load confirmation to a carrier or driver, it can include a specific email address for documents - like PODs. That email address will be linked to the pro number of that shipment. So a driver will be able to photograph a document - a signed delivery receipt, for example - with a smartphone and immediately email that document image for processing. In Aljex, that emailed POD attachment will go directly into the images folder for that pro, that shipment. You don't have to be involved. The POD will be where it should be. Very simple, very logical, very cool.

Coming Soon: Locaid Cell Phone Tracking
We have a new integration with LOCAID, a cell phone tracking option. Locaid is built right into the check call screen of Aljex. You enter a drivers cell phone #, click to request tracking, and it instantly sends a text message to the driver asking if it's OK to track his phone. If he replies with a "Y", Aljex will automatically ping his phone 4 times per day and put the locations into your check call system automatically. This means that if your customer tracks the shipment in your web portal, they will see the exact locations too. This is the "Holy Grail" of freight brokerage, knowing exactly where the truck is.

Coming Soon: ARC - Automated Rate Confirmation
There is a new rate confirmation option coming to Aljex -- the ARC! It's a self-dispatching rate confirmation. You email the confirmation to a carrier. Aljex sends a rate confirmation that only includes the cities and states for the shipment, no details (until they sign it). They click to E-sign it via Sertifi, our e-signature partner, and it pops up the full dispatch information, including pickup address, reference #'s. E-Signing the ARC also uploads the signed confirmation to your private documents in Aljex, AND, marks the shipment as being dispatched, and marking that you have received the signed rate confirmation. WAIT - there is MORE. The ARC also lets the carrier update the shipment to say he has arrived at pickup or destination, he is loaded or delivered, and add in check calls. In short, it allows the carrier to self-dispatch and self-update your system. The ARC will cost $1.00 per confirmation.

Coming Soon: Carrier Self-Invoicing
Aljex has a new Carrier portal soon to be released. Carriers can self-invoice! And, you can make money when they do! What is carrier self-invoicing? When a carrier is ready to bill you, they go to your web site and click on self-invoice. They are presented with a list of shipments that they handled. They choose a shipment, upload their paperwork, choose their terms, and voila, it creates an invoice to you for their job (including their signed paperwork) and puts it in a queue where someone just needs to audit the POD, make sure that its signed clean, and one click later, its processed and aging. Couldn't get any easier. How do you make money on this? When a carrier chooses their terms, you have different discounts shown for quick-pay. If a carrier chooses an overnight for say... 5%, you just made an extra 5% on that load. If you were making 12% before, now its 17%, a huge difference.
