When a user has a menu page or detail page displayed, Vision marks that shipment as "locked." (The lock is refreshed every 5 seconds as long as the menu page is up; when the user leaves the menu page, the lock will expire within 10 seconds, making the load available to other users.)
While a load is locked:
- On the home page, the row is displayed in red. Hovering on the Status column displays a tooltip showing the lock info.
- On the menu page, a "Record Is Locked" message appears at the top of the page, and all fields, links and buttons are disabled except for the blue menubar at the top.
- You are on a menu page viewing a locked shipment. When the lock expires, your page will automatically refresh itself (acquiring any changes the other user may have made) and redraw in an unlocked state. The load is now locked to you; in all other sessions it will appear as still locked.
